Batik as one of Indonesia’s cultures is the result of wealth that has been recognized in the international world today. Acknowledgment From UNESCO

October 2, 2010, became the most historic day in the world of batik. On that day UNESCO has established and inaugurated batik as the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. With this, it indirectly makes batik as a native Indonesian culture that cannot be contested and recognized by other countries. After the recognition was ratified since 9 years ago as a Heritage object, batik is now growing in the eyes of world fashion.

Besides, several celebrities from the world were also seen wearing several Indonesian batik collections. Rows of celebrities include Adele, Jesica Alba, Lenka, Drew Barrymore, Lionel Richie, Bono, Nelson Mandela, and Bill Gates. They are the celebrities who always appreciate and are fans of Indonesian batik.

With a variety of uniqueness that is owned by batik, it is not surprising that the world fashion designers also began to make Indonesian batik motifs as one of the best selling collections they have. On average they follow the Batik Class to be able to create a batik cloth.
