There are some Balinese motifs that are well known among the natives of Bali Island and other people. When you are enrolling yourself to Bali Batik Class you will be able to make one of those motifs on your own.

Additionally, here are some steps of how to make a batik that hopefully could give you an insight of how to do them in your Batik Class. Firstly, you need to draw your motifs on the  fabric, or you could pick the pre-made patterns of your choice instead of drawing it on your own. And then, draw wax over your patterns to part the colours before you start dyeing them. After that stamp your fabric with your preferred design.  And then, choose colours from the natural dyes colours palette. Next, paint on your design. And then, you need to dry your painting for about one hour. After it dried, you need to soak it to the cold water to bring out the colour, and then soak it in warm water to remove the excess wax, and soak it with cool water for one more time to lock the colour and then your batik is done. And now you could bring your very own Balinese batik home as a souvenir after you complete your Batik Class.
